The words were not coming well today (there were words but they were NOT pretty). So, we decided to pivot and outline the remaining chapters of this 0 draft so when the words are coming I don’t have to think about “what should happen next?”

I’m going to be really excited when I go off outline 🥰

This is so real

Editing is crazy bc I’m reading some words like “I don’t remember writing that—that’s good??” And others like “I don’t know what dumb bitch is trying to sabotage me.”

Sometimes when I’m in the thick of the drafting>>editing>>drafting>>editing loop I forget how much progress I make pondering.

I got a new keyboard in one of my offices and idk what it is about the clicks (genuinely it’s a basic dell keyboard) but they’re different from my other office and my laptop. It’s the only keyboard I want to work on now. I get so many words in just to hear myself type.

I’ve resorted to adding random scenes to the middle of this book instead of just writing the climax (not even the whole climax. Half of it is written. I JUST have to write the second half). Send the audacity, please.

I will have to beef it up for the class I’m taking. I’m required to get the manuscript to 50k. BUT I’m excited I was worried it would drag and it doesn’t seem to have that issue lmao

I think this draft is going to clock in under 50k. I have stuff to add in dev edits but?? This might be a cute little read?? I didn’t know I could still write those.
