Rough one today. Working out of High River this week, fighting back a cold, the mercury nosedived to -31° this morning and to top it off they turned off the power in our work area so we have had no heat and no lights for the last 2 days.

I must be old... I don't know what that means. Maybe its some kind of linux command?

Online training today. Wow, this system is annoying as fuck. As soon as you look away to write down notes or even go to the bathroom between videos it freaks out and makes you re-identify yourself.

What a retarded system. 😡

I haven't tested the theory yet, but I heard that heavy acceleration and braking will trigger it.

Everything's been fine up till this morning. People were just driving like total assholes all of a sudden. I got cut off probably a half dozen times, flipped the bird, dirty looks, you name it. 🤷

It probably wouldn't bother me so much, but my work vehicle is lojacked and apparently the dash camera will send footage to the office if there's an "abrupt maneuver" detected.

I dunno of it's the warm weather or what, bit holy shit people are driving like assholes today.

So my normal manager is out this week and someone else was processing my payroll instead. Long story short, I got paid for 8 hours plus about $100 in expenses... I should have gotten paid for 47.5 hours and about $200 in expenses!

I believe the British term is, "I am not a happy bunny." 🤬

Holy crap my tank is running on empty today. Might be a good night to just crawl into bed early.

Treating myself for my (post) birthday weekend. I walked down to the local coffee shop for coffee in a cinnamon bun this afternoon, then splurged a little at the Farmers Market.

Now on to an escape room and Italian / pizza dinner with my friends 😊🎂

So I "upgraded" the courtesy lights on my truck... God damnit... I'm STILL furry trash 🤦🏻‍♂️
