Jamisin Matthews was the base face model for Leon in Degeneration, Darkside Chronicles, Damnation, and Operation Raccoon City. Apparently, his friends/coworkers have been congratulating him for WTRC after confusing him for Avan Jogia. The resemblance is not lost on me.😂

to be fair re Jogia's performance, i feel they chose to keep Leon in one-dimensional comedic rookie mode for most of it because they were trying to fit too many characters into the ambitious two games+ plot

Almost bought a Magnavox Odyssey2 a couple weeks ago, but decided to just invest more in my 128. Yeah you picked the best sounding then. And along that line, "Pet" is kinda cool too

Yeah, I gotta check the newer one out as well. But this 90s Jet Li stuff does feel right about now. So nostalgia is definitely a factor. Especially the "modern" era ones in Hong Kong.

TBH honest, I'm starting to appreciate these because when I first watched them, I had the Cantonese versions. So, now these offer a whole new experience. And retro y2k music on top of that!

Smart of you to consider adjusting the eq curve, but if it's a normal type1 recorder it may have a difficult time properly erasing and recording over what was there first. Regardless, it doesn't matter if it was at 120 or 70 before, because you'll be recording over it.

I regularly use the old CS on a 2011 MacBook Pro I keep running for this sole reason.
