Few you got vaccine fell ill . It’s why I stay on top of it. I couldn’t fathom how many people I knew & had to refuse entrance to my home to see my 1st child.

I am a pediatric ICU physician. I am filled with dread knowing viruses and bacteria will provide the education to families who don't vaccinate their children. And the cost will be dear.

By "Diversity", Rubio means folks with DYSLEXIA, a learning disorder. Serifs add strain. That's why fonts that aren't were the deafult. This will be a trickle down policy where they can find a way. @governor.ca.gov has been open about his dyslexia. As am I. It's like taking reading glasses via font.

That would be better, I'm really mad at this regime currently. Comic Sans may be goofy, but there's a subtle intent here. CS was inadvertantly, good for dyslexia. Now more fonts intentionally are. Serifs are a struggle. They'll trickle this down. It's cruel. Intentionally. It wasn't a whim.

I'm actually furious over this.

Calibri was the default font for Microsoft until recently, due to better screen readability, accessibility and adaptability across platforms. It replaced Times New Roman which is optimized for print, not screens.
So better readability, accessibility and screen reader accuracy is apparently woke.

TNR has serifs, so screen readers mess up. Calibri doesn’t, so switching fonts actually was an accessibility thing done in the last admin.

This is more dumb even then it sounds. Calibri is a font that was specifically designed for reading words on computer screens. Times Roman is a remnant of typesetting and typewriters and reading from paper.

We weren't dumb. We were different. Grand-Mère had a high school education, from a class of 30 people. The lady who sculpted a lot of funding requests with her learned to read in a one room segregated school house in the Delta. They hatched many a plot to fund our school. They gave me a real chance.
