I've been told that Delaware DSA's Queer Socialist Working group are a bunch of baddies who get shit done and are nearly akin to the Chicago QSWG In terms of tenacity. The leadership slate has big plans for the chapter and QSWG.

Friday at 9pm Est, 8cst, 6pst. We'll be streaming to pick up about what we missed from this stream, and in a bigger way. We're talking about what our Caucus can offer the Queer community, and inviting a Liberation Caucus leadership slate from the Delaware chapter to talk about their plans.

One of our leadership Cadre you could see in the stream yesterday, Alexandria. She follows Zapatista thought, just in a Maoist leaning way.

We also have Maoists whom are centered on being more in line with a more middle of the road, dare I say Orthodox Marxism-Leninism-Maoism who kind of bring an allure of balancing the Caucus so that it doesn't become Ultra-Left which would make us unappealing to the masses.

Another thing I could go ahead and tell ya, when I said Revolutionary Polyism Ofc I was in jest, not completely tho. Everyone in the Caucus follows some variation of Maoist thought, just not strictly the same exact tendency. I & a few others are Anarchist Maoists, we have third wordlists too...

My experience being a candidate was such a fun time. The Cadre made me feel like I mattered, always asking my opinion and getting my insights/feedback on official matters. Very democratic. The process goes this way because Maoism is all about the masses, and the process of criticism/self-criticism

After you graduate, you become a Cadre, Cadre is a title we take seriously, it means you've demonstrated your commitment and willingness to do the work. Cadre get to join a committee or multiple committees of their choice, and have an orientation for the committees not long after.

You'll also be able to use the discord server to talk about the text, the questions, anything on your mind really. Candidates, and Cadre, are always discussing the works and other things in great detail during the candidacy season.

Each week, y'all have a reading assignment from the curriculum, and a video meeting at the end of the week. Everyone gets a chance to speak about what they learned and offer any criticism of the text. If you don't make the meeting, no worries because we have word docs with questions.

There are some days for everyone to chill out and get to know each other before the political education studies begin, Candidates also choose what times work best for them and ask for any accommodations, Leadership happily provides all requested accommodations. After everything is sorted, we begin.

We can talk about tasks that you'd be doing once your application is received. You would have a 1-1 vetting interview with a Cadre from our Caucus, after your interview we vote on to approve your candidacy. You'll then be added to our Discord server with the other Candidates.

Rightist Caucuses (Social Democrats) have been the hegemony of DSA for quite some time. These are the folks who keep putting our resources into electing democrats that betray both DSA and the masses, and having a labor strategy that unconditionally supports unions even when the unions are sell-outs

So in Liberation, we seek to demonstrate that Maoism is good for DSA, and we are gaining prominence by having our members excel in Local/National bodies of DSA. Of course, we are in a coalition with other Left factions because it has proven to be a hard task to steer DSA to the Left.

If you wanted to be a DSA member, joining a Caucus gives you a group of Comrades who follow a particular set of theories & strategies whom you can approach your DSA work with. DSA as an org comes first, the Caucuses are there to influence and steer DSA in a Leftward or Rightward direction.
