The main takeaway from Gorton and Denton by-election is that the anti-Reform vote is more than double the size of the Reform vote despite the very best efforts of the mainstream media to tell us Reform are polling best as they constantly platform and amplify their hateful message. #HopeNotHate

Gorton and Denton is what happens in a safe left leaning constituency when a social democratic party decides it doesn't like its old voters and wants to be a populist right party. You don't beat Reform by being diet Reform with your only campaign slogan being "vote for us or get Reform"

Exactly Liam. When you combine Green and Labour votes its 66% of those who voted,which is a decisive rejection of Reform. Unfortunately,our fptp system and peoples disillusionment with Labour,could still hand success to Reform in the future. Thats a very frightening prospect

It really was.They just wanted to get away& have a good cry. They're gutted. I hate it when interviewers insist on talking to them when they're obviously upset. They were the better team overall I thought,but the game can turn so quickly. I hope the lads come back at the next Olympics for Gold.
