Not sure if this England or whole UK. Many neurodivergent “ ghost” children are among the absent children. “ ghost” children have disappeared from the discussions of late. Even more ghosted. Que a media campaign to inform parents that education matters. Who knew.

If your kids live in one of these towns they are likely to have significantly poorer educational outcomes, but nobody is quite sure why, and the government doesn't appear to be doing any specific work on the matter.

The SQA and Scottish Govt spent months defending an internal investigation into major allegations of exam failures.

Why No Autistic Child Should Be in ABA Therapy If we are all going to do right by autistic children, we need to listen to autistic people about the damage wrought by ABA therapy.

One of many reasons ABA therapy harms: "Autistic children need their parents to understand that autistic 'behaviors' usually have rational origins." ABA therapists rarely intuit why autistic kids act the way they do, focusing instead on making them "normal."
