Jazz Camp for Girls - we enjoyed our day at Spring Tank Studios. The communal atmosphere and bright aesthetic helped the girls to feel safe and relaxed which is vital for improvisation and developing new skills.

Jazz North was delighted to collaborate with NYJO and One Education to bring jazz to 6 Manchester schools. Pupils explored improvisation with the saxophonist, composer, producer and NYJO resident MD Ahnansé and introduced to playing jazz ‘beyond the notation’.
