The very fact Scottish people feel the need to prove that they have the right to discriminate on their own community's behalf is proof of why having a state is an important first step. The only people who benefit from mealy-mouthed are those on top.

The BBC, which has an outside influence over Scottish media, prefers Scottish landscapes with English accents, in large part because they outright hate the accent.

Unionists don't see a problem because they lack a holistic worldview. They'll post "fix the potholes" because their worldview is so narrow they think the only reason anyone would choose to visit or stay in a nation is due to larping or just existing. Someone pays for a milieu.
