Been laid up here for the last couple of days and I couldn't have made better decisions for the sake of my comfort while recovering. (I really need to get some wall decorations up lol)

Day 3 @furality.org #furality Nice surprise downstairs when I got up today. Goodness knows sleep would be amazing right about now. Great energy with me right now as I recover from the surgery between this and the great friends keeping me company and looked after both in person and online.

got woken up by phrenic nerving pinching for the4th time today. ffff. #gallbladder #postsurgical (i hope these words help others so you don't deal with this pain as I am. Fruit is your enemy before general anesthesia.

yuuup. 5-6pm prior night, surgery at 8am. started getting pain around 11pm, then today its been nothing but bloating as my guts restart - due to the co2 gas used with the robo assist tool in addition to that, its compressing a sensitive nerve that runs from neck to ribs along the right side.

Being real it was really pretty uneventful. I was still able to get up the stairs and stuff but the pain level is pretty heavy. Once I figured out how to get into bed without mentally collapsing I threw my VR gear on and spent the entire day just sitting and watching shows talking to friends.

For now I just wish I could tell past me not to eat watermelon before general anesthesia. I'm kind of blown away that they don't warn you not to do this.

Yep pretty much. It's been rich before for a long time. Everything else is a distraction meant to gaslight people into looking away from the real problem.

So far so good. Need to heal up so I can take care of other problems. Time to get my shit together.

lol. so true. The whole point is to rob power and money from the poor and middle class along with smaller businesses, but it still affects the big businesses too.

They really just need to tax the ultra rich already so we can genuinely have standard income via trickle down that way. Go Economy!

Woke up at 5:45 a.m. and despite some anxiety about getting up out of bed, I was able to go 'downstairs' and make some egg whites with minced turkey minced (fats in those yolks aren't worth the risk yet). I also blend it up about two cups of diced frozen fruit with AJ. #gallbladder

After falling asleep in VR (One of the best investments I've ever made in both finances and acclamation through my time spent socializing) I managed to rest from roughly midnight with a group of like-minded considerate friends that I'm thankful for. #gallbladder

I wasn't able to get the oxycodone that I was prescribed last night because the pharmacist wasn't until 3:00 p.m...

They were only 5 mg tablets anyway so I guess oh well on that.

I've just been staggering ibuprofen and acetaminophen 3 hours apart.

All right folks. It's day two, Post-laparoscopic gallbladder removal surgery.

Can confirm CO2 gas pain in the shoulder is a thing. Seems to be exacerbated by bloating in the stomach and intestines causing extra pressure on the nerve that relays that pain signal.

Honestly even if he did, it seems he got the job done decently.

So far everything seems to have been textbook and I'm not tearing stitches as I stand up at least to the best of my knowledge.

Yeah. My doctor through the little robot hands into me through four incisions.

And then sent me home same day before noon after arriving at like 6:00 in the morning and getting surgery at like 7:30.

If you have a strong abdominal core then maybe it won't be super painful but I do not. Baby steps

That's what they're there for. I've already dealt with enough pain while dealing with the gallbladder - going to use pain meds responsibly like they're supposed to be used.

That's okay as I can be for the time being but I'm under orders to try to get up and tolerate the pain for what I can so hopefully I can get this laparoscopic CO2 gas out of my system because the CO2 pain up around my collarbone and shoulder definitely hurt. Gas-X at least alleviates other bloating.
