Happy to share that our shared first-author paper with @febedemeyer.bsky.social is now published open access in @jcgntn.bsky.social
πŸ”— bit.ly/4bt2D8Q

We developed and administered an open-source cognitive control test battery with often used tasks (bit.ly/4ql9gyP) in 247 students. Key insights in 🧡

New open access paper in @jcgntn.bsky.social: bit.ly/4bt2D8Q! We developed and validated an open-source cognitive control test battery (bit.ly/4ql9gyP), using a transparent, open science approach. We worked on this for 6 (!!) years, with many lab members, so I'm thrilled to see this published.

First post here to share a new paper from my PhD! πŸ₯³ together with my amazing PI Laura Kaczer.

We use pupil size πŸ‘οΈas a measure of cognitive effort and find that semantic context reduces effort during word processing, specially for ambiguous words.
