After 20 years at this job, I unlocked a new nonsense yesterday:

Went to pick up a check from a client. He left it on the floor so n his bag- and when I touched the envelope- it was soaking wet. Turns out his cat pissed on everything, including his entire retirement savings. Good times. 🤮

Yesterday was the point of the trip where time is going entirely too fast.

Outside of proximity to NYC/Philly, the best part of living in NJ is the food.

I just had takeout from a *world class* Indian spot in Parsippany. But to also have access to insane Korean, Chinese, Italian, and some the best Deli sandwiches, bagels & pizza is pretty unfair.

Been on a cleaning spree this weekend, throwing shit out.

Finally decide to throw out some of the kids’ random junk that sits on every counter in the house. My 7 year old saw me and hits me with: “you’ve heard of karma, right?”

Fine. Now that junk can sit on the counter until they’re 18 years old.

..But what if I need them someday??

Not trying to brag.. but I cleaned the garage and finally threw out a bag full of bags 💪

Seat next to me is open. Hoping a tiny girl shows up and not big dude.

Big dude comes up and sits down next to me. Bummer

Later I commented to wife “this big dude is actually really good at respecting space.”

Today is my 3⭕️th @phish anniversary!

Tonight I celebrate this version of Phish & this version of me. Older, questionably wiser, a bit less hair- but a MUCH greater capacity to appreciate the big & small moments, like this.
