Got a simple open-case for the NAS, to properly have a base for it, rather than having it lay on my shelf.

However, since its some proprietary fuck motherboard, it has not the correct holes and doesnt align.

Now wanted to put it back into the shelf: doesnt turn on anymore.

Now I tried to find some way to create an intermediate ca cert for caddy from my own ca, but they always require a password.

Figured a intel N150 would be good enough - which in basic stuff it is - but starts to have issues when skipping or rewinding.

Given that it has a TDP ~6W, still quite good.

Home Server is progressing quite alright so far.

Buddy who's moving gave me his old 3d printer, so perfect way to use it.
But it's *just* the printer, nothing else.
After some talks with a bud, turn out i need a lot of extras...

It is enabled and running just fine, but I think since I don't use a greeter and have to start the grqphical session (using labwc) manually, it doesn't want to work nicely with it.

just simply restarting the services whenever i start the session - hacky way but works ^^

Buddy is cleaning up some stuff and found a Raspberry 2b which he gave me.
Perfect to setup pihole on it, so yet another adventure to start

But now working the entire damn day to get a fuckin video output again, because I used "nomodeset" params, which made video work, but the audio was missing.

Now I tried to do it properly but nothing works, and gives me vague errors if any.

And I though I'm already somewhat alright with linux

Ok, so setting up #Arch is actually much more of a hassle as expected, fml.
Tried 3 times to install it manually with the docs, but always landed in the grub shell instead of starting.
Gave up and used archinstall, which is actually really nice.

Next task is to properly setup my server tho.
Currently using bazzite since I planned on playing some stuff on it, but it's quite locked down and not really fitting for my usecase.

So I will probably go with #Arch and some minimal WM to have it as lightweight as possible.
