I think these folks are hedging their bets on Trump. They'll claim this is altruism but I think it's self preservation.

Wasn't expecting Stitt to be the guy who said this. Also wasn't expecting the Ted Cruz reaction to FCC overreach on Kimmel.

The effect on the Netflix stock price is further proof that the anti-trans folks are a handful of braying jackasses.

The rest of us aren't offended by trans characters in TV shows.

I have been criticised for being part of the Riyadh comedy festival. This is why I did it | Omid Djalili The headlines focus on money, but the gigs were great and I think there are different ways to achieve progress. Art, especially comedy, can be part of that, says stand-up comedian, Omid Djalili.

The link was blocked but I think this article is very important. It also gave me insight on why a comedian I respected would perform in Riyadh.

Djalili is one of my favorite international comedians and offers a different perspective on the Riyadh comedy festival.

Very good reminders that governments are not their people and that gigs like this are a way to reach audiences who were inaccessible less than 20 years ago.
