Being boiled was their best track, went down hill from there for me.

I need to get this off my chest. The capitalist system is abusive, the political class are abusive. We are all in this together is bullshit, we are not, we are being abused daily. It's not OK.

Marine Drive, Scarborough is spoiled by St George's flags on every lamppost. Looks awful, Intimidating and saddening. We have 11 Reform councilors and a Labour MP. A backward town, full of bigots.

People say a lot of things that they have no business saying! Everything is political, right down to the air we breathe. You can't escape politics. You have as much right to have your thoughts, feelings and opinions, and voice them, as the next person. So don't be silenced by "people".

This so resonated with me. We spend so much time researching and learning about the latest science/research on a particular subject and then are treated as know-it-alls! Gas lighting is what that is! We know what we know and what is bullshit.

Labour’s welfare cuts stop disabled people working Tens of thousands of disabled people are being excluded from working due to welfare cuts and Labour lied about it until recently

My family has experienced this first hand. Labour cutting support for the sick and disabled whilst peddling the narrative that disabled people don't want to work!
Tell me again that Labour is great and I will reply, "Labour is shameful and
immoral."

There's no need for horses in the city. It's cruel and their welfare is severely compromised.

Or buy a horse! Another severely misunderstood species, whose welfare suffers through outdated beliefs and practices.

Yes sick, disabled and people suffering with mental health issues will die because Labour wants to strip away the pitiful amount of support they get! Death by legislation!

Thrown the disabled, sick and people struggling with their mental health under the bus....eugenics by legislation style. Blaming the victim! Fuelling racism and stripping away our democratic right to protest. You can't polish a turd, and Labour are a pile of them!

All those empty buildings and second homes, what is wrong with repurposing those? Huge country houses for starters!

I will take a look but I won't hold my breath that the Greens or any parliamentary party can affect real change. Any real change has always had to be fought for through workers struggles, strikes and mass movements on the street.

I find that most therapeutic practices ignore the ways in which material conditions under which we live is a major contributing factor in poor mental health. The working class is grossly under-represented in therapeutic practices.

15.10.2025 16:16 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

This lack of access for the poor or working class means that they are denied access to therapy. What little help they are offered is given by therapists who have little or no understanding of some of their clients material conditions.

15.10.2025 16:12 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Interesting that a whole demographic who needs mental health support is so under represented or lacks access to education to become therapists because of poverty. This also rules out access to CPD, supervision and required therapy whilst practising or training.

Interesting no reply to my question from Zack Polanski. The Greens talk a good talk, but on grass roots issues and support for the working class, I hear nothing. Surely real change relies on a mass movement from below. I have no faith in MPs and electoralism.

What about housing, mental health services, the gig economy, wages and working conditions? Where do the Greens stand on these issues? My concern is that the Greens will still not oppose the bankers and the bosses and allow the continued to exploitation the working class.
