Out of an abundance of caution and in the interest of safety, we have made the decision to temporarily ground our MD-11 fleet. MD-11s are approximately 9% of the UPS Airlines fleet. The grounding is effective immediately. We made this decision proactively at the recommendation of the aircraft manufacturer. Nothing is more important to us than the safety of our employees and the communities we serve. Contingency plans are in place to ensure we can continue to deliver the reliable service our customers around the world count on.

A follow up to this: Much of the discourse on book banning focuses on schools, libraries, going to school board meetings, pushing elected officials to enact policies about book banning. All good! But one thing glaringly absent is recognition that authors’ first amendment rights are getting attacked.

For the record in case this becomes something serious, yesterday I woke up with my left ear feeling full/under pressure, but yawning or breathing out with mouth + nose closed isn't doing anything. I can't hear low frequencies on my left ear that I can still hear oh my right.

Not an anime but transformers more than meets the eye + lost light (which I feel I've told you about before and you weren't interested BUT I like to bang these particular pots and pans)
