Wildlife burnt, respondents at odds | Midland Express Concerns rasied for welfare of native animals since bushfires ravaged habitats

After Victorian bushfires, trained wildlife rescuers are being blocked from helping injured animals, including burnt kangaroos and joeys.

AJP VIC MP Georgie Purcell is calling this out and demanding the state government back wildlife rescuers. Every day volunteers are kept out, the animals suffer.

NSW is moving to make leaving dogs in hot cars an offence.

Emma Hurst MP is working to extend protections to all animals & to protect people who act to rescue animals from hot vehicles.

The Drake Inquiry report confirms that this industry fails dogs, can’t regulate itself and simply cannot be trusted with their lives.

Dogs are still being bred, killed, injured and exported while the Government hesitates. Bring back the ban on greyhound racing for good.
