This will be a solidly Democratic district, so there is zero excuse to accept a moderate candidate, especially at a time of creeping fascism. Sunday night, Senate Democrats gave us a good example on why we can't accept a moderate candidate at a time like this. Things we need to demand of candidates running for this seat is that they unequivocally support the rights of women, immigrants, and queer people (including trans people). Be in favor of abolishing ICE and impeaching Donald Trump. Those are the bare minimum requirements we need from our candidate and we cannot accept anything less.
