Always fun when I get a weird set of replies, and then I go look at their profile and they haven’t posted for an entire year but now they’re really concerned about a hyperspecific geopolitical issue and I’m like “oh, ok, you’re a state-sanctioned op, cool, lemme just mosey over to the block button”

Put up the #hummingbird feeders today. Haven’t seen one yet, but they generally start arriving in early March.

In the mid-90s rfkJR was a face of the Hudson R's revitalization, thx to his work with HR Riverkeeper. By the 2000s, stories emerged that he used his position as litigator with the prestigious nonprofit to file personal vendetta lawsuits unrelated to his work. He's long been more Trump than Kennedy.

At least 22 people killed in Pakistan as protesters try to storm US Consulate Authorities say at least 22 people were killed and more than 120 wounded in clashes with police on Sunday after protesters tried to storm the U.S.

They're just getting started, it's all downhill from here now fatwas have been issued, to get revenge for killing Khamenei.

Fix Your Hearts or Die It's a invitation, not a threat. The path to liberation for lonely men is feminism.

"A man free of patriarchy is a man who has found not only every woman's humanity, but one who has at last discovered his own. The actual path to liberation for lonely men is feminism—because pursuing an identity based on dominating others is self-isolating."

Stop asking for "an explanation" like there's going to be a good answer for why he launched an illegal war without consulting Congress

Start calling this out for what it is. Jesus, only 21% of the public backs this war, it's not remotely popular. Find a fucking spine.

Multiple people writing to me on my website & Twitter, people whom I'd never met, "Your dad did not die of Covid," certainly showed me. (Covid killed him 5/10/20.) To this day when I say, "My dad died," some will start to say, "Sorry" & reach out, but when I say, "of Covid," the hand gets retracted.

this is fucking shocking, and while i know politics journalists think it's cliché to point this out, a democratic president would be impeached for delivering this speech in this way, and rightly so.

When he tries to run for a third term, I bet Trump will use the SCOTUS ruling in Trump v. Anderson to say that states can't bar him from the ballot under the 22nd amendment, either.

The SCOTUS gift that keeps on giving.

Doubtless Napoleon thought he was on a roll as he marched into a burning Moscow.

Then there was the Third Reich on a roll toward Stalingrad in the summer of 1942...

As Sun Tzu surely said, "If your leader thinks his plan is working and thinks he's on a roll, you're fucked."

Sunday Sermon:

Find one thing today that is good. One thing. Now take one minute to be present with that. One minute where you allow yourself to feel good without interruption. Breathe in deep and exhale it out.

Ok, back to this bullshit.

really one of the strangest media cycles in history, where mainstream media actively hid the fact that the columbine killers were popular upper class preppy kids with full on neo-nazi ideologies and instead pretended they were victims of bullying

Screenshot of a tweet from x.com by Senator Dave McCormick that reads:
Now would be a good time for Democrats to drop their opposition to DHS funding and pass the bill to support our homeland security.
Continuing to play political games with our national security given the unfolding situation in the Middle East is dangerous.

Boy, does this make me think of Justice Jackson’s Youngstown concurrence, in which he warns of the danger of a president unilaterally initiating a war, and then using that war as a bootstrap to claim extraordinary powers at home.

Gavin Newsom is the Martin O'Malley of John Edwardses. He is a de facto DINO, not the de facto head of the party.
