Follow up note on those Beyblade X codes, these were my recent pick ups, got Sol a while ago but didn't feel like posting them alone so I waited for my Clock Mirages and second Pegasus Blast (I want to keep one metal coat mint) to post about it but the collection still continues~ :)

Ngl I might just be, kind of overall giving up on Nintendo there's so much now that only exhausts me from franchises i used to love and looked forward to their announcements but now, with the business practices, I think I might need to step back cause all I feel for the most part is disappointment

Though half of them were fairly close, it has really low stamina so if it doesn't get in some good hits early on it tends to just teeter over and plop. I'm going to have fun doing further testing with Shark on LR, and Calibur on... honestly I'm not sure what yet, will probably start with L or UF :3

I like the idea of merge and want to mess with it on some way more proper defense oriented combos but on Calibur it really screws itself over most the time. Shark however on, what may arguably be it's best combo (for now) dominated winning all 8 of the testing rounds.

so I ran some battle tests with Shark Scale and Samurai Calibur in their stock combos, I like to do this from curiosity most the time even though like obviously Samurai's stock combo is... not great. Which shows, Calibur lost and did very poorly in 7 of the 8 matchups.

More of the new Beyblades arrived, I'm looking into getting a Valkyrie Volt but I'm probably gonna hold off on that for a while longer for the price to go further down. Also to potentially wait for the red aero pegasus to release to scoop both up at once.

I sort by type for bits and blades then height for ratchets personally but this is VERY aesthetically pleasing

I feel that, the new 5-80 ratchet I got on Cerberus Flare is loose where the bit goes in so it's extremely bit burst prone from any one decent hit. I've experienced a solid amount of this I'd say maybe 1 in 10 ratchets have problems from my X collection? Something like that

Yeah it's weird, I've been trying it on things like Tyrano Beat, Phoenix Rudder, Scorpio Spear, things that I think have good shapes for the stamina and attack halves of the gimmick. But no matter what, a burst would happen in half the matches from self burst late game or getting hit hard early game

Yeah which makes it incredibly busy prone from my testing despite a big half of its gimmick being late game hyper aggression

Why are we making a piece that plays into going crazy agro, that is extremely burst prone??? A reference to reboot and final drive, two amazingly fun gimmicks to play with and to see in their respective animes and then Turbo is just... absolute cheeks.

It also drives me MEGA insane that they realized the X5 ratchets suck, the friction fit doesn't work well. So we're getting 4-50 to power creep 4-55 in June yet Turbo, the first ratchet/bit combo piece IS ALSO FRICTION FIT. A piece meant to go from a more stamina style to crazy attack later in.

Been a while since I posted any additions to my Beyblade X collection, but tbf Tricera being the only June release made there be rather little reason to actually post about it alone. X is also seeming to be winding down in popularity a fair bit with CX's lackluster competitive performances.

I feel this a lot with my disability, though something else that irks me is we have no idea if abilities are back will they even make sense in this game? They were gone in Arceus but half of the identity of a mega is the ability. Why do they keep bringing megas back without half of the mega???

I uninstalled it after looking around and playing a few maps so about, thirty minutes? Threw some of the most infamously OP characters from my days at a tempest trials and watched the characters get completely murked. I wish anyone who's still committed to this game the best of luck @-@

One of the few things I would've rather been wrong on but... wow it's, so surreal. This game used to be my bread and butter and just looking at my own barracks and the new active banners, available events it makes me feel queasy from how overwhelming the bloat is.

the amount of mechanic and feature creep between characters, how they've managed to make the amount of text in skills even longer, and they have a whole run of legendary heroes but... again?? Cause I guess one for each wasn't enough, which I actually called out years ago as being possible.

Man looking back at some of the games I used to be into even beyond Dragon Ball Legends is pretty wild. I gave up Fire Emblem Heroes about 3 years ago now, decided hey I can't sleep lets go look at what I missed and oh my lord it's so overwhelming I feel like I dodged a bullet getting out when I did

Every year around the anniversary I peep back in on Dragon Ball Legends to check on what I missed and every time I get reminded why I left the game. Like they genuinely make Hoyo look like a generous gacha company to me.
