Three confirmed deaths, likely more. Hundreds arrested, and there is video evidence of police brutality. There were deliberate blackouts, and the president has directed the military to do nightly patrols of Jakarta.
Protests continue nationwide, some turn into riots, but a fair amount were peaceful.

Dear friends, An ojol (motorcycle taxi) driver was killed tonight in Jakarta after being struck by a police car during the protests. His death is more than an accident, it is the cost of living under unjust policies. I can't stop thinking; it could have been me, it could have been any of us. The protests erupted after Indonesia's parliament approved a scandalous housing allowance of Rp 50 million (~USD 3,100) per month for each MP - while the minimum wage in Jakarta is only Rp 5.4 million (~USD 330). How can we survive in a country where lawmakers grant themselves luxuries worth nearly ten times the salary of an ordinary worker? But the fury on the streets is not only about parliament. It is also about the reckless, cruel policies under President Prabowo Subianto: - Billions of dollars wasted on fighter jets and submarines while millions remain poor and hungry. - Rising food prices because of mismanaged imports, crushing families who already struggle to eat. - Authoritarian attempts to silence critics and shrink our democratic space. - Endless elitist perks for officials, while hospitals, schools, and public transport are left behind. This is why people are angry. This is why people are afraid. Tonight, when an ojol driver lost his life, I felt that fear in my bones. Because if the state refuses to protect us, and instead protects only its elites, then none of us are safe. I am angry, furious that our lives are treated as disposable. I am afraid- afraid that tomorrow, more people will die simply for demanding dignity. I ask you, my international friends, please don't look away. Indonesia is not only facing a crisis of policy - It is facing a crisis of justice, of humanity, of democracy itself. Spread this awareness. Let the world know what is happening here. "Age verification" laws are actually "upload your ID or get your face scanned to access every website, ending anonymity and associating your identity with everything you do online" laws and if more people understood that they would not be down for this authoritarian nonsense

Unfortunately compression seems pretty bad on this one, when I was writing the medal name translations I was still able to read them quite well and zoom in to a significantly higher degree

Planesona Medals Awarded for extraordinary achievements, and similarly exceptional occurences. The common threshold is seven victories in a single sortie. They are, from left to right, back to front, with their medals, as follows: Canberra B(i).6 - Distinguished Flying Cross (UK), Harrier GR.3 - Air Force Cross (UK), 'Kingcobra' P-63A-5 - Distinguished Flying Cross (US), 'Raiden' J2M2 - Order of the Golden Kite 3rd class, Bf109 E-7 (Japanese) - Order of the Golden Kite 3rd class, Sptifire Mk.XIVc - Distinguished Flying Cross (UK), J/S9 - Gold medal for valor in the field. Spitfire is petting Bf109 as J2M is putting a hand around Bf109's shoulders, with P-63 looking on with a grin. Canberra is looking at and carrying Harrier in their hands, while Harrier is giving the peace sign and looking toward the viewer. J/S9 is trying to move a camera trigger into place, accidentally triggering the camera in the process. P-63, Spitfire, and J/S9 got their medals by getting 7 kills in a single sortie, Canberra got their medal by getting the most kills in at least two sorties as a bomber, and J2M got their by achieving two kills while having lost one, then both of their wingtips, and returning safely. Bf109 has achieved three sorties with 6 kills, and consistently gets ace in a sortie, qualifying them for a medal. Harrier, meanwhile, has had success outside of combat operations. Of note: These planes, and their achievements, are based on my experiences with WarThunder J/S9 in-game is the J9 Early. J9 is the Swedish designation for Seversky P-35s ordered to Swedish specifications. In-game, the model features a fixed camera in a rear compartment. However, these cameras were only added in 1947 after these planes were re-designated the S9C (as there was already an S9). The S9C features tiny but noticeable differences to the J9 model in-game. I took the middle path and just called him J/S9 for his double role. as fighter/recon.

Distinctions

I do pretty much everything with one pencil, then I take it to Clip Studio if I feel like colouring (thank fuck for the 'brightness to opacity' feature). All my posted sketches are photos adjusted for contrast, and if not taken in sunlight, taken with something light mode on my laptop.
