Be aware of FREEZE / THAW
conditions on Freeport roads Higher daytime temps mean melting ice and snow,
which then freezes over again as the night falls, leading to
icy roadways, including dangerous black ice.
Please be careful as you navigate roads during this time.
Thankfully, we are looking at warmer days ahead!

The silver bullet on West St is still open, but the best recycling method is at the Transfer Station compactor. Hours are more limited than the 24/7 access to the silver bullet, the environmental & financial efficiency of the compactor cannot be topped. freeportmaine.com/228
