So I just broke my ankle and won't be able to see a doctor for a follow up for almost two weeks, and that's one of the better things happening to trans people in the USA today, to give you an idea of how things are going over here.

So far so good here near Boston. Coastal communities have been really hard hit though, with wide-spread power outages in areas within a few miles of the water, and basically all of Cape Cod and the island of Nantucket currently without any power at all.

So anyway, did you know that most play groups for Magic the Gathering are totally cool with proxies, and there are an absolute fuck ton of incredibly creative indie board game and TTRPG companies out there that mean you never have to interact with Hasboro ever again?

There's a catharsis in pointing and being smug, especially when the hegemony is collapsing. But that's not how we build working class solidarity. Be pissed off at the government, be furious about the past, but don't think we're not trying to make change and that it can't happen in your country too.
