This absolutely stinks. Get Palantir out of the NHS. Sign my petition:

Ummm thatβs not exactly how I remember it. I rather remember wagering that a pragmatic materialism would make more scientific progress than a pragmatic panpsychism (if there is such a thing). But letβs see the video π§

Turns out lowering bills, protecting the NHS and rebuilding our public services is really popular.
This is just the beginning - people are seeing through the attacks and demanding something better.
And we're making hope normal again - together.

Several people sitting on a stage in a beautiful hall. Iβm pictured talking with my hands. A screen behind us shows the title and cover of the German edition of my book.
A picture of me on a stage holding my prize with the Austrian minister for science next to me holding a copy of my book.
The prize winners on a stage holding their prize and their books. A screen behind them shows the covers of the four winners of the Science Book of the Year awards.
A picture of me looking exhilarated in front of a window shop displaying my book.
Yesterday was a truly special day as I returned to my beloved Vienna to receive a prize for a book that I conceived and wrote in that same city. Moved by the presence of friends in the audience and so thankful to everyone who voted for me.

02.03.2026 18:54 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0And our dean kicked off orientation week saying how vital good business leadership was to the world given its impact and sheer number of hours people spend at work. So, a bit of a contradictory message for us. Just like in the real world.
02.03.2026 17:30 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Iβd be very curious to hear the synopsis of this (as a start). My corp strategy prof on day 1 of my Michigan MBA said, βthe purpose of a business is to make money.β Legally, considering fiduciary responsibility, heβs not wrong. But thatβs a hollow way to view the world.

So great to see Zach get more airtime to demonstrate the coherence, compassion, beauty, and excitement in the full Green Party platform.
I wasnβt happy with how I left our philosophy discussion, but on reflection it was much more about epistemology and what I think is the role of evidence. Iβll focus on that next time.

Second favorite:
"The Oxford Handbook of Spontaneous Thought...describes the routines of highly accomplished historical figures...who achieved great success despite working a relatively short day (4-5 hrs) followed by lots of walks, afternoon naps, loads of unstructured time, and long vacations."
My favorite quote in this long read:
βTo focus on conscious thoughts is like focusing on the leaves of a tree and trying to understand them in isolation,β she said. βThe tree is the mind, and thereβs a lot more to the mind than consciousness.β

I've been holding onto my subscription to WaPo, mostly out of loyalty to #CarolynHax, but this is the last straw. Glyphosate does not need protection!!! The American people need protection from toxic chemicals & our regulatory system needs protection from corporate interference.
