Wat zou helpen is beschikbaarheid data over watergebruik door bedrijven. Voor welke processen wordt drinkwater gebruikt? Is grijswater een goed alternatief? Kan drinkwater lokaal meer circulair worden hergebruikt? Etc.

Al met al erg veel onzekerheid en de gevolgen van waterschaarste zijn onduideljik (bouwbeperkingen? aanbod verhogen ten kosten van natuur/landbouw? drukverlaging?)

Antwoord minister:
1) we vergroten productiecapaciteit van drinkwater (dit is erg moeilijk en vereist hoge investeringen)
2) we gaan onderzoek doen (tja)
3) we doen van alles op het gebied van communiceren, stimuleren en reguleren (maar dat werkt dus niet)

Dit is het mooiste plaatje. Vergelijkbaar met figuur 2 in esb.nu/dreigend-dri.... Het was een crime om de data bij elkaar te sprokkelen uit dertig vewin rapportjes.

The water unexpectedly released from dams on Trump’s order didn't help farms or L.A. The Trump administration abruptly sent water flowing from two California dams. The action could leave less water in dams for the summer, when farmers typically use it.

Where did that dam water go?

Trump celebrated dumping billions of gallons from two dams in Tulare County, saying it was headed to farmers and Los Angeles. But that's not where it went.

Right. So there is a range of possible SCC depending on bargaining power, with "polluter pays" and "victim pays" as the extreme outcomes.

This definition has now been puzzling me for a full day. Two clarifying questions (or maybe you can point me to a relevant paper?):

1) This method/definition requires that future generations are at the bargaining table, right?
2) How do you account for the Coasean bargaining surplus?
