Last week at Full Council, I supported a motion to better protect our precious rivers and chalk streams.

While the motion did not go as far as I would have liked in adopting a full Rights of the River approach, it was a step in the right direction, and one I was pleased to support.

Good news from Wednesday's Winchester City Council Full Council.

Green Grp successfully proposed one Motion (Armed Forces – End to the Unjust Benefits System) and supported another (Protecting Streams and Rivers Across the Winchester District).
