That was the first thing that came to mind for me as well.

What I love about the Episcopal church I attend is kneeling at the altar and lifting my cupped hands. Having left churches that only reveled in strength, this sign of gesture of neediness is a balm to my soul.

This is the ideology I’ve seen pedaled by political/theological conservatives for years. Their arguments begin with “What about…” and “But the dems…” in order to justify any & all unethical, ungodly behavior. They have no idea of overcoming evil with good (even if only their perception of evil).

Those “Christian values” would be considered “woke,” and therefore “unbiblical” today by the louder voices in the Evangelical room.

Is there a way to send an “I’m so sorry for how you were treated” card to Zelensky? How can we let the Ukrainian people know that we are horrified by their treatment of him?

I figure they’re gonna have all the info on me already. If I’m an open book then nobody can hang anything over me. I doubt they’d feel threatened by a 61yo postmenopausal realtor. They’d more likely jump bump me off as unnecessary, seeing how I can no longer reproduce & don’t made good sammiches.
