What an interesting weekend standings wise for the Giants. Swept Oklamento while Dodgers got swept by the Angels and the Padres got swept by the Mariners. Gained 3-games in the standings over BOTH after dropping 5 of previous 6 overall. Tied w/SD, 1 GB of LAD.

For the Bluesky crowd: -- The one way Kuminga winds up back on the Warriors next season in one photo.

The Warriors season is over. Wolves win Game 5 by a 121-110 final score. Their season ends in Round 2 of the playoffs. Minnesota wins 4 straight after Stephen Curry's injury to advance to Western Conference Finals. "Dubs OT" coming up on @KNBR and on YouTube.

Great defense by Draymond Green to stop Edwards, he's laying on the ground and Kuminga lets Randle slip in for an easy offensive rebound put back. Just no effort to do anything other than look to score.

Same starters to the 2nd half for Warriors. TJD in, Kuminga off bench

More aggressive shift for Jimmy Butler to begin 2nd quarter. Timberwolves have 8 turnovers negating their otherwise efficient offense.

Wolves up 30-23 after 1. Light work for Minnesota, 16 points in the paint. Gobert leading the way w/8. Wolves also 4-for-10 from 3. Kuminga finishes quarter w/9.

Warriors hanging in offensively early in Minneapolis. Podziemski w/a couple 3's. Kuminga w/a quick 7 after a couple failed drives. 21 points in less than 9 minutes but nowhere near enough defensive stops for it to matter. Randle continues to have his way. Gobert/Reid on interior

39-17 Timberwolves in the 3rd quarter including a 31-11 finish after the game was tied at 66.

Kerr going unconventional out of timeout with Kuminga coming in for Podziemski. Very big lineup w/TJD and Draymond, Butler and Hield.

The better team never has to play as well for as long as the underdog does.

Took one semi-middy (made it) and one corner 3 (that had to be taken). Everything else at the rim or drawing fouls.

Jonathan Kuminga first half shot chart. 4-for-5 in the paint and 8-for-8 at the FT line. 16 points just like that.

Warriors up 60-58 at halftime after winning 2nd quarter 32-31. Minnesota is 10-for-19 from 3, the great equalizer, they have not played well otherwise, Warriors getting another massive Kuminga game (16 at half), Hield 11, Butler has only taken 5 shots. Looney 6p/8r. GSW only up 2

13.05.2025 03:35 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

When Kuminga is rolling he gets a hell of a whistle

That play also made me think of when Klay Thompson decided to swing on McDaniels early last season.

Really surprised that's not a flagrant foul. Don't think there was any intent but usually when you make contact to the head area it's automatic regardless. Looked like a horse-collar.

And then 5 points the other way for Minnesota

Two missed layups and then a basket interference to boot, yikes!

Kuminga probably shouldn't sit for too long.

Julius Randle is the difference in the game 19 points, 5 rebounds, 3-for-3 from 3. Wolves back up 7.

13.05.2025 03:05 β€” πŸ‘ 3    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Warriors up 28-27 after 1. Kuminga getting whatever he wants attacking the rim. He's hitting his little pull up again too, T-Wolves without much of an answer. Much better Draymond Green effort early.

Nice pass by Kuminga to setup the Payton II three.
