All sorted but for 2 players. Rafik Guitane wants 13k a week, I'm going to have to hope there is some interest in Jan so I can cash in.
The other is Figueira, he's good but not that good. He wants to be an important 1st team player but I'm not willing to give him that so talks have broken down

3 months into the season & things are going well, I prefer to be proactive than reactive so I've tied players down to deals that reflect their ability in hope that they are less likely to ask for future increases. I also got rid of a number of release clauses. This is how the wages look now...

The nerd in me means that I get no better satisfaction than when I sort the squad by wage, high to low and the players squad status next to it reflects it!

I've been alone a few times over the years when friends haven't been able to make it. As soon as the game starts the fact you're alone no longer bothers you. You're there to watch a game and it means you don't miss anything as you're not nattering away 😂

Was just driving home and I had an Asda delivery van in front of me, coming the other way was a Tesco delivery van. They flashed their lights at one another as a sign of mutual respect. I imagine it's pretty much the same as when Messi and Ronaldo drive past one another

After 5 games are unbeaten with 3 wins & 2 draws but are yet to play any of the big guns. The aim is to finish 5th and become best of the rest behind Porto, Benfica, Sporting and Braga. Last season we finished 6th due to Vizela having a better H2H record

Finally we have a new number 9 in Rodrigo Macedo, I spent £400k to get him from Braga. Again he's not that good but i think playing him every week will see him become good and hopefully generate some profit.

Out wide Abraham Marcus moves down the coast from Porto for £240k. He's quick with good dribbling, his finishing isn't bad either so hopefully he can get get a few goals as an inside forward on the right.

In the centre of the park Abdramane Konaté arrives from Ivory Coast side FC San Pedro for £250k. I love him already, just thrown him straight, he only recently turned 18 but he has great potential. Two goals in 3 starts, not a bad start!

At LB I made my big signing, Casa Pia went down so I took Leonardo Lelo off them for £1.5m, he's my best player but does have a release clause of £2.5m for champs league clubs. At RB I signed a youngster released by Porto in Rodrigo Pinheiro who is raw but I'm just gonna throw him straight in

The summer is over and a lot of new faces have joined! In defence my centre back pairing of Vital and Alvaro both left to join Rayo Vallecano Three young centre backs come in, all on free transfers. Sylla and Muller will be my starting pair with Camara providing cover.

Atalanta secured an immediate return to the best league in the world by blowing away Serie B with over 100 goals and points. But they faced a big step up in quality if they were to meet the board's objective of surviving in Serie A - which wasn't helped by a poor financial situation.

Previously I've only ever visited for a season during a journeyman but I'm now doing this and a network save, fully hooked. Lack of work permit restrictions is class but I also like the lack of finances which creates a challenge

Did you just decide your fm25 save?

Despite exceeding expectations during the first season I've only been rewarded with a £1m transfer budget so I've got very little to work with. With 4 loan deals up and 6 first teamers contracts due to expire its going to be a very interesting summer!

In the Taça de Portugal Placard we caused an upset beating Porto in the semis, overturning a 2-1 deficit in the 2nd leg. The final was against Benfica, we took a 2 goal lead but they pegged us back late on & after extra time it went to penalties where we were left heartbroken after a Fernandes miss!

Season 1 is now finished! In the league our form improved dramatically over the second half of the season, the switch to the 433 had worked wonders and we really kicked on winning 11 of our 19 games. We went from 13th to 6th and only missed out on Europe on our H2H record with Vizela.

Four years ago today we promoted the Social Media manager to CEO and four years later we're still stuck in League Two. The Bradford City banter era rolls on...
