Just wanted to hop on here and say thank you to everyone who's followed me, I'm fairly quiet on here but I do occasionally pop up! I am ever grateful for your support and I hope my humble art brings some wonder to you in these troubling times

Fishersnakes are active hunters, and the only creature agile enough to take down Porcupuffers without getting stabbed.

They use the tentacles on the ends of their snout to detect faint movements in water, and can unhinge their jaws to swallow large prey whole. 🦦 #Art #creatureDesign

Some thoughts: When using GenAi as a mood board you don't get sources. This means you deprive yourself from knowledge. You generated a location? You deprived yourself of knowing more about the interesting parts of the world and why things came to be. Generate an armor or costume? You deprived yourself on real world techniques, function, form and history. You generated art inspirations? You deprive yourself of learning about artists from history or lock out living ones from potentially being hired. Ethical issues of using GenAi models aside, one ends up making visuals mood boards devoid of reality and history. With it one deprives themselves from learning about our world and who is living in it, inadvertently making your work weaker, because of how detached it is from our shared human reality and history.

Been thinking on the use of GenAi for mood boards. Ethics and legal risks aside, I truly believe using GenAi as references deprives one of many pivotal things.

I'm usually quiet here, but I just wanted to say that I had the honour of working on Jurassic World Evolution 3! It was an insane experience and I worked with a team full of incredible people. I concepted the adults and juveniles of these three which is still madness. I hope everyone enjoys! 🦖✨
