💡 How Covid Rewires the Brain may have you looking at the world a little differently today—or realizing how you may already look at the world differently.
@jasongale.bsky.social Could you ask your publisher to please post your audio book to @libro.fm’s audiobook platform? By buying your book there, I (and other readers) can support our local independent bookstores. It’s also a great audiobook platform.
Thanks! Looking forward to reading After Covid.

Reading this report on the deep connections between Microsoft & Epstein.
In Seattle, whisper networks of women have spoke of a glass ceiling there for female leadership.
Microsoft should review if women were passed over for leadership b/c of Epstein’s influence.

For a story: I'm looking to speak to people of all ages about how uncertainty around access to SNAP and high cost of food is impacting mental health and well-being, especially as new restrictions/work requirements have taken effect. rainesford.alexandra@gmail.com, Signal rstauff.20

E-bikes and lime scooters are in the mix of the high accident rates. They come up in all the accident data.
Just anecdotally, my just-graduated-college neighbors, of four of them commute via Lime, 3 had accidents & 2 have been to the ER this year for Lime scooters/bike accidents in Seattle.
The per rider accident rate is much higher for e-bikes. ER docs are pleading with people to stay off e-bikes and Lime scooters.
If we were building infrastructure that would be safer for alternate transport, great, but most Americans can’t afford a $400 emergency let alone an ER bill & disability.
Not when you look at the ER bills from e-bike accidents.

This is an immensely significant document that continues to get virtually no attention in US media—but lots abroad. In Jul 2015, Epstein arranged a meeting between a known highest-level Russian intel operative, Sergey Belyakov and Peter Thiel,

Whoa. Thats devastating.
In Washington State, we have 1st year and 6 year rights. As a result, our home got back more than half its resale value in fixes and settlement. Our townhome complex got back over $1 million USD so we could fix our homes and cover the legal process and investigation.
Do NZ residents have the right to sue builders for bad construction?

… and monitoring/notes from monitoring Epstein in prison.
Link above, in case anyone might find this worth digging through.
As one does in 2026, I was keyword searching the Epstein Files.
Oddly, I hit a 1,000 page document filled with emails from some (non Epstein) email account that had a Google alert for the word “prison” and extensive emails/spreadsheets on prison conditions.

100%, yes.

…because this was someone I didn’t know, I didn’t have first hand knowledge. But this part of the Epstein network impact—on what did or didn’t get funded for the last 15+ years—weighs on me.
I hope Melinda French Gates is/will fund women who got passed over by MIT Media Lab.
…I got a couple calls in 2019ish from someone who’d done scheduling at MIT around Media Lab.
They alleged that female grad students/researchers/profs were never invited to Epstein’s island but men were. Those spots were coveted b/c often, people would get funding after. I don’t know if true…
After I was supported w/a legal team by TIMES UP to come forward with my own me too story (not Epstein related), women started reaching out to me for the next couple of years about their own me too stories.
Often, folks who’d been adjacent. I never took notes, just shared what I’d learned…
It gets much worse. The connections to MIT’s media lab are well known… but someone should be looking through the new releases. All the academics invited to Epstein’s island.
All male. Through participating, they’d alledgedly get access to research & project funding. Their female peers? Nope.
Wait until someone tells them that driving while Covid positive is the same as driving drunk.

We honored his life and legacy and lifted up his family, his friends, his union, Minneapolis, and our nation in prayer. “Today, we demand accountability. “In the immediate aftermath of Alex’s killing, DHS Secretary Kristi Noem betrayed the public trust by slandering the good name of our union brother and calling him a “domestic terrorist.” Alex Pretti was a patriotic ICU nurse at a VA hospital who devoted his life to serving America’s veterans. That claim was reckless, defamatory, and unsupported by the facts. Noem was preceded in this false statement by Stephen Miller, Deputy White House Chief of Staff, who is also the architect of the chaotic and failed immigration policy in Minnesota. “Our demand is clear: Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, who was responsible for carrying out the policy that led to Alex’s needless killing, and Deputy White House Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, the architect of that policy, must resign immediately. If they refuse, President Trump must dismiss them.
The American Federation of Government Employees, which represents border patrol officers at the National Border Patrol Council, calls on Kristi Noem and Stephen Miller to resign or be fired

Nasra Ahmed, a 23-year-old US citizen, was arrested and detained by ICE. She was held for TWO DAYS.
ICE agents handcuffed her, called her a racial slur, and she was knocked to the ground so hard she got a concussion.
This cannot continue happening. ICE needs to leave.
