Raising sport fish for anglers, recovering endangered species, providing nearby nature for people to experience, places for children to go on educational AND fun field trips, providing free and accurate information about so many topics to all the public.

Americorps also provides valuable work experience and a bridge to permanent employment for these young people. It’s a win win for pennies on the dollar.

Ask your state reps how they feel about this, too. They can and should join this fight, because states do not have the resources, or in some cases the expertise, to manage these sites.
