ALSO! A TON of focus on vertical/fast paced content (obviously for tik tok) but unless you want to be a content creator forever. You HAVE to learn to branch out, videography or cinematography. Hardly anyone can make this a job by just posting hyperactive 30 second clips.

All of them are very accessible, Derry being focused on true beginner education.

Here's what I would do if I ever returned to photography content (steal this if you want)

1. Teach the basics
2. Show failures
3. Experiment
4. Teach that you have to learn the rules so you know when to break them
5. Actually educate about composition
6. Gear doesn't matter.

Here's what I've noticed as a spectator on photography TikTok:

1: always a focus on "do what I do" rather than "learn the tools"

2: a LOT of creators have 1 video pop off. And reuse they're hook/shot/effect over. And over.

3: focus on new gear, not learning skills to work with what you got.
