Tonight, the Groningen region in the Netherlands was shaken by a magnitude 3.4 #earthquake, according to KNMI. This is the biggest eq in the region in the past 6 years. Here's the seismogram from my Raspishake in Herne, Germany, 211 km away from the epicenter. ๐งชโ๏ธ #Geology

Peak Ground Acceleration was up to 0.09 g, more typical for magnitude 4.7-5 earthquakes. Note that this is an area where buildings are not build with earthquakes in mind.

Also it makes just as much sense as all other metrics.
