So, weird story. Sometimes when you come out of heavy sedation from surgery you hallucinate.

I woke up, my mind trying to put things in order, surrounded by faces I didn't recognize, and then suddenly @danryckert.com was there? He was just like "Sup." and it threw me off so bad I snapped out of it.

There was a Metaurus outside that OR yelling about my soul and my surgeons were having NONE of it

So.

Good news: I made it through all of my surgeries.
Better news: my surgeon is some kind of prodigy and did some magic surgeon work so that I don't have a bag stuck in me for life.

So.. on the back end of beating cancer.

Worst news: He didn't take the opportunity to turn me into a Space Marine.

Here's what they don't tell you about colon cancer: you absolutely lose the ability to tell apart bowel sensations. Is it a fart? Is it alarming amounts of blood? Normal peepoops?

I've been staring at the checkered pattern carved into the sides of the soles of my sneakers for an hour now, and honestly can only think of one thing.

Instead of random geometric patterns it should just have the phrase "LET THE BIG DOG EAT" on there.

desktop client specifically. There's a site version, deck.blue, which is what I use. But it's browser based and thus I will forget about it for weeks at a time as soon as I close it.

I might have to check around for that. Having a client that launches when I turn a computer on.. that would increase my productivity. Or reduce it. Whichever. I'd be tweeting a lot. Or whatever it's called on here.

It's hard to get back into the swing of using something like this! I miss the old Tweetdeck desktop client. I just forget to open the website.

Phew. That Switch 2 is gonna be expensive as hell at launch. $715 plus tax is too rich for my blood.

And they didn't even call it Swiitch like I suggested forever ago.

Hah, yeah, that's one I know about. I got a pretty nice longcoat outta them before the quality went down.
