Now, roughly 67% of Democrats say they sympathize more with Palestinians, while only 20% favor Israelis. ➤ Independents are now more likely to sympathize with Palestinians than Israelis for the first time in Gallup’s tracking. Around 40% lean Palestinian, compared to roughly 30% for Israelis — a new low for Israel among that group.
