He got down on his knees to speak to her at eye level.

He placed a hand on the top of her head with a grin.

' You light up every room you're in, and you give all of us morale. Reminds us what we're fighting for. '

He moves in, standing next to her and admiring the graffiti with her. It was. . . rough, yet absolutely beautiful.

' You've got talent, huh? Keep up the good work. '

The fact that she wants to be like him both terrifies and makes him so pleased to see.

Maybe he could come up with a gift for her for later. . .

He's watching from a distance, but he's so happy right now. A strange feeling for him to experience.

He's watching the kids run around, just to make sure they're safe.

' Oh, there she goes. Should probably keep an eye on her. '

' My daughter is running around here somewhere. '

' Stop overclocking the Z-Drive, you could ruin the timeline. '

' Alright, alright scamp. You convinced me. '

He put her over his shoulder with a laugh, carrying her off towards their home.

' How could I possibly say no? '

' Me too. I missed my daughter. '

He lifted her off the ground, cradling her with one arm.

' So, what should we get up to now? '

' I swear. You're such a good kid, why would I go anywhere? '

He removed his mask so she could see the smile she put on his face behind the scarred visage.

He couldn't hold back from wrapping his arms around her, closing his eyes tight to fight back the tears.

' I will never leave you again. I won't. '

( He dropped down onto his knees, arms outstretched for a hug. )

I never wanted to leave. . .

( He pauses.

Then reaches out towards her. )

Kid. . ?

Quiet. . .

Too quiet.

He's not used to this kind of peace. It's jarring.

Eden is amazing, beautiful, one of the most wonderful people I know, I am absolutely a simp and I am shameless about that. I absolutely adore them and I will shout that on the TL as many times as I can. They're the best, and I mean that.

He chuckled as he began moving with her, keeping with her rhythm and movement as he danced along with her.

' You're not so bad at this. '

He chuckled, taking her hand as he led her to the open space, reaching with his free hand to start the record player.

' Now dancing I can definitely do. . . '

He smirked as he kissed the back of her hand softly.

' Karaoke? '

He rubbed the back of his head with a little groan.

' If you're sure you wanna hear my crappy voice. '

He let out a dry laugh at the thought of him singing.
