I went to a nondenominational Christian high school and the lifelong Catholic teacher WAS the most chill teacher I had, which I found interesting. She was such a genuinely kind person (especially compared to the more evangelical people there).

I grew up Episcopalian which is basically Catholicism lite in terms of rituals and atmosphere (though not in terms of ideology) and lowkey miss the pageantry of it all. There is SO much ceremony and I love it.
