As well, I unfortunately believe the word "engage" is already being similarly corrupted by consumerist mindsets; engagement as a statistic for "success" in digital spaces. I think we should consider defending the consumption of art, both engagement and incorporation, from subservience to consumerism

I think we can challenge the current connotations derived from consumerism as an ideology, without stigmatising the necessary act of consumption or divesting it of its value. That media can be consumed, engaged with and incorporated into ourselves like food, drink, and air, is a beautiful thing imo.

To me the act of consuming something involves both interaction and incorportation. As consuming food and drink provides nutrients, consuming media provides ideas and perspectives that become part of our being. From that viewpoint, I think 'consume' effectively captures the impact media has on us.

Being 'indefinitely suspended' from the Studium for 'disconcerting and ethically indefinable' research isn't going to stop Venn from becoming an archon of extradimensional botonical ontology!

I'm still fully intent on doing a full write-up on Smurfs (2025). After watching half of it though, I've realized this is a task for peak vyvanse hours. I thank you for your patience.
