Cheaper fares (not sure for petrol) than the British example?

Kate Osborne's another North East Labour MP who might be closer to Greens than to a lot of Labour, and Greens have a fairly strong presence in South Tyneside (partly down to local factors, and either Osborne or Foy staying would make sense; party-to-party defections for sitting MPs are still rare).

Johnson would probably have gone earlier without Russia invading Ukraine, Labour now are 15% lower then Conservatives were in February 2022, and I don't think most Labour replacements would be particularly different on Iran. I can see why it makes him going less likely though.

More to Azerbaijan than to Poland?

Less than £7 per month per adult for membership's fine, but assumes you go to their places enough for it to be worth it if not just spending to support them.

I could add that Greens might turn away Labour detectors; given Polanski's own journey (I know he has very little say over whether local parties want ex-Labour MPs as their candidates), I doubt that would universally apply.

On the other hand, the first bit despite staff changes could make a big change of course under Starmer seem too unlikely, and moving now gives Greens a sense of momentum.

Why now? Things might not be going particularly socially liberal (Streeting, Mahmood) but McSweeney's gone, and Labour probably won't sink lower right now with a) this maybe being their floor and b) Con/Ref position on Iran. If Starmer goes after May, why not stay for the leadership election?

Live in Baden-Württemberg and suspect you will see nothing but Christian Democratic governments, or move to Bavaria and remove all doubt

O'Tacos - Original French Tacos | O'Tacos O'Tacos est une chaîne de restauration rapide française créée en 2010. L'enseigne est spécialisée dans les tacos français.

Maybe something in between would work better?

It's what Milton Keynes could (should) be.

That's being a little harsh, as it has its nice bits as well.

At least there's Ludwigshafen to compare with.

I think this is the first repeated graph I've seen, but asking for a different-placed country.

I think Albania's were meant more for defence and resistance than for protection, with Switzerland and Finland being the only other democracies I can think of which have built lots of bunkers.

€907 and 695 CHF per month (I think) for first class BahnCard 100 (ignoring the inability to pay monthly?), KlimaTicket Ö and SBB GA.

I'm not sure why you'd get all three rather than using global Interrail passes for ones you don't live in unless you use tonnes of Swiss trams and ferries.

"Badenoch won't lead Tories into the next election" would have been another, but unless local / devolved elections this year are far worse than expected, there doesn't seem to be tonnes of movement against her.

"LDs, Greens, SNP and Plaid won't lose seats" is more or less the only prediction about 2029 I'm willing to stick with right now.

I think a lot of displaced in Lebanon would have been those already refugees from Palestine or Syria, without having anywhere else to go.

Would non-white workers being enslaved in white-owned factories and mines have been too much integration for them?

I know there's some room to change as BW and RLP voted on the same day in 2021 but two weeks apart now; not sure how far that can be stretched.

Is it possible to have significantly early Land elections in Germany, as I think that's impossible in the US (or in Belgium, with federal, EU and regional then provincial, municipal and district elections at the same time)?

09.03.2026 09:51 — 👍 0    🔁 0    💬 1    📌 0

I can see why (e.g. 1973 EU membership), but I'm not sure if it would have been my first guess at a British special relationship; in different ways, Ireland, France and Portugal.

Economics, depending on how far Reform's economic coalition ends up stretched between the poorest voters and people like Farage. All that needs is for the electorate to ignore at least two, and almost certainly more, of the last five prime ministers.

Sunak has around two million followers there. Macron has 3 mn. Can a non-UK / Irish / Commonwealth citizen get a peerage?
