A digital artwork depicting the surface of a heavily cratered moon, its terrain dramatically colored in gradients of teal and blue on the left, shifting to yellow, orange, pink, and purple on the right. A winding canyon cuts through the foreground, fading into the horizon of the cosmic landscape. In the upper left, a textured, rocky planet glows with golden-yellow light, while on the opposite side, a planetary object emits a soft purple hue. The deep black backdrop is filled with countless stars—tiny pinpricks of white and colored light.

The cosmos teems with infinite realms—to claim we’re its sole marvel is to waste its wonder.

so freakishly good. there can be a lot of flag planting arrogance and creative gatekeeping in the chef world. I guess as a rebellious act, I've turned my attention to the things that sustained us globally for the majority of Human Time. it's really satisfying,.

a white plate on a wooden table contains a simple breakfast: buttered sourdough toast, cassoulet with an over-easy egg, sauteed greens. the lighting verges on moody.

nourishing our communities is one of the foundations of resistance. nourishing yourself allows us to pour most deeply into that cup.

break bread. share seeds. tell the stories of hope.

be the fucking Light, y'all. now is the time we've been made for.

A poem by Langston Hughes titled "Tired". It reads as the following:

"I am so tired of waiting,
Aren't you,
For the world to become good
And beautiful and kind?
Let us take a knife
And cut the world in two --
And see what worms are eating
At the rind."

I've been thinking about this poem by Langston Hughes recently and although it was published in 1931, it remains relevant as ever.
