At today’s UNSC debate on Leadership for Peace, Denmark underscored the importance of UN leadership that builds trust, strengthens reform, and takes bold action to prevent conflict.

Today, Austria and Denmark hosted a signing ceremony on integrated mission-level planning 🇩🇰🇦🇹
41 member states in a joint effort with one goal: to make peace operations more effective; acting as one mission, one team, with one shared direction.
The UNSC today carried out its first-ever visiting mission to Syria. As co-lead on the mission, 🇩🇰 welcomed progress made over the past year and expressed solidarity with the Syrian people during the transition, urging an inclusive political process.
