An idea I’ve been teetering with that will probably never see the light of day is a historical/royalty au (possibly omegaverse??) with joon sooo badly wanting to be a good king but also being this close 👌🏽 to burning down his own kingdom just to get tae to acknowledge him

Endings can be hard when smut is a huge part of the story. But I'm guessing the fake dating and idol portion is going to be central. So, at first, maybe focus on what you want the characters as two people just existing to experience.

i have a semi-abandoned wip that was for a fest that's not canon but still idols fake dating omegaverse taejoon. i always say im going to come back to it but ?????? maybe it's better as a concept?

free fic idea i’m never gonna get around to writing this but: taejoon neighbors au where tae walks by the gym down his block on his way home from work and sees THIGHS (bonus points if joon’s dawgs are out) so tae, who doesn’t care for working out at all, gets a membership so he can ogle The Hot One

Mod 🌞 is definitely NOT a fan of the dawgs being out in the gym. That said, we get you Tae.

Would be great if Tae makes a fool out of himself bc he tried to lift something heavier than his whole existence and Joon comes in to help the cute idiot.
