So I'm digging deeper into Descent in terms of writing and I have a few things folks might find interesting as I plot out scene-by-scene and discover reoccurring themes that are popping up as I go and...

As I said before, been working on writing for “Descent” #jayvik ! The general beats, the bricks are in place. Carefully moving through it.

If anyone is at all curious how my brain works with writing, this a peek into that.

I've finally done it. Descent #Jayvik but biblically accurate to Arcane style - or as accurate as I can get!

I’m still workshopping it, but the idea that Viktor and Jayce are eventually found by Rakkor is certainly on the brain. I’m unsure if they’d find themselves with the Solari or Lunari, or something in between, but their dislike for the Solari would be a guarantee that’s for certain

Jayce in early descent gets flare ups with his leg, it’s getting irritated, isn’t getting better but he doesn’t know how to tell Viktor. He CAN’T tell Viktor, everything is already so bad, so challenging, he can’t fathom becoming another ‘problem’ on the heap.

The kissing was purely indulgent (and non-canon to Descent thus far; I MUST stay focused as much as I want them to smooch), but I'm trying to figure out how Viktor "glows" when he touches or is touched. hell yeah my favorite glow bug

I’m torn on whether or not they’ll smooch. We’ll see… it’ll either be a hug or a kiss or both. Descent is so on the brain.

Like after all this time of separation, Jayce sees Viktor and he’s the most beautiful thing he’s ever seen.

Sorry for the radio silence! Descent is still on the brain, but new job and school starting soon has been rocking my shit - once my schedule is stable I hope to get back into it…. Been thinking about the inevitable reunion and kicking my feet

YES! Can't wait for him to accept both halves (or perhaps all versions) of himself. Has to look each one in the eye to get there... He'll get there one day 😔
