Yeah I agree largely. Both positions aren’t mutually exclusive - you can hate commercialism of the game and still accept that we have to buy into that to survive. I don’t think any fans should be mocked for championing loyalty or Des

Agree to an extent but just can’t see he’d have won those three games though. Sometimes footballers just need to be told what to do and when. One of Des’ strengths but also his failing imo was to give players too much freedom to make their own choices

Think the difference yesterday was he was being told to pass the ball forward, was spraying passes around. I trust CB far more when facing his own goal, whether that’s the role Cam wants or not

I’m always torn on him. Often gets run ragged by a decent winger. Often wonder why we can’t seem to find a RB with more quality, then he does what he does today, at Wembley etc etc Whatever people think of him, his attitude is brilliant to have in the dressing room

Bit of both maybe. Blind alleys often because the others don’t make good runs, but agree his end product lacking. Just think he is only one with ability to create something from nothing

Yeah I think he looks good. Today he was finding space, turning away from players and driving into the space he’s created. Only one who looks like he can do something with the ball. FWIW think Rowett marginally more likely to keep us up than Des but fundamentally I feel players aren’t good enough

He was POTY last season for you wasn’t he? Our issue is that he was in double pivot with Bannan which worked for him but is used as the single pivot DM for us which leaves him exposed a bit…

He’s been shocking tbf. Not sure what’s going on with him, he was brought in to be our “steady” champ player and our best players have been our L1 lot. He’s a lovely bloke but just not working for him atm
