I’m torn by this.
Part of me likes the completeness of quantifying these things but we also need fuzzy words to match our fuzzy lives.
For everyone who’s come up with the perfect take down, on your way home, two hours later.
Here’s someone doing it for real.
And it’s delicious.
Badenoch doesn’t do facts❗️She doesn’t do intelligence or telling the truth either.. she’s a Tory so what do we expect🤥
Here she attacks Starmer for not funding defence
In fact defence spending has increased by £5 billion under Labour with plans to make it 2.5% of GDP rising to 3%
Facts eh❗️🤷🏼♂️
For any Tory to accuse anyone of looking after their own interests at the cost of the country is beyond contempt.
They fed greedily at every trough offered to them, and they viewed the rest of us as mere obstacles to their own advancement.
Fuck the fucking Tories.
Angsty teenager with massive chip on her shoulder and no clue about anything but settling scores from when she felt bullied by ‘lefties’ at university didn’t have anything serious to bring to the grown ups’ debate about war? No way.

Funny. I was just walking through there on Saturday. They were setting up community market, folk out for shopping- all friendly.
Of course I did see mealy mouthed failures scowling outside the pubs. Haggard, bitter folks with huge chips on their shoulders and cheap pints. I guess that’s your tribe.
And what with you being such a cheery soul. Unfathomable really.
Common denominator mate, try not being an abrasive arsehole and maybe your neighbours won’t hate you.
Took me a while.

Any minute now, I’ll wake up and this has alllllll been an awful dream.
Any minute now…. Now…. N..
Oh come on, really?
“Calm but tense.”
What?
Surely there wasn’t a time when that was allowed?

We just need a simple rule.
If you publish a lie, the retraction or correction must take up the same amount of column inches, same headline typeset and, most vitally, on the same page as the original falsehood.
Front page lie? Front page apology.

Blaming others for one’s own failings is the sole reason Reform exists. It’s the party of wasted opportunity and envy.

A mix of petrol and oil. Basic engines like agricultural machinery, and lots of older motorbikes used it to lubricate the engine as it ran.
Mostly one just mixed their own via two inlets. Some bottles came with a way to mix as you poured. I don’t think it was ever pre-mixed as it would settle.
They still have no smoking signs on planes.
And my local newsagent is still telling you to stay 2m apart.
Stuff lingers.
