Asperging (fire/air) & censing (water/earth) are simple though hugely important actions which have both symbolic & practical magical relevance. Between them they contain the four elements, used in the process of purifying the magic circle and also transmitting the intentions of the practitioners.

A reminder that magic is like any skill - earned through practice and dedication, not claimed through ego or hubris.

It is hugely important to always be open to change, and acknowledge that there is always room for improvement. Magic is a process of change, and to that end we must always seek to refine and enhance what we do to the best it can be at the time without denigrating previous success.
