I bet on the Julia language on the long-term. In my opinion itโs superior to Python for data science and there is a highly specialized and growing community building tools for it.

The state of applied fMRI/EEG research is truly concerning. I have the feeling that most groups in neuroscience have a superficial understanding of the technicalities behind their work. Worse, most donโt seem to notice that - all they care about is finding the next brain blob that explains XYZ.
