Who could be Iran’s new supreme leader — and what happens next? The country is now plunged into a period of even greater uncertainty, with eyes on potential successors and the possibility of civil war

Very few will mourn the loss of Ali Khamenei and his regime.

Good riddance.

The regime hangs on by a thread. However, it still has support. If the US doesn’t get this right, and it tends not to, the whole area will descend into 10 years of civil war…

If you’re in the US right now and you’re worried about Iranian sleeper cells being activated, don’t worry about it.

Kash Patel, Seb Gorka and Pete Hegseth are on it…

The last time we helped the US launch a war against a Middle Eastern country the PM of the day was labelled a war criminal.

Today we are not involved, yet those very same people are labelling the PM of today a coward.

Has this country always been this stupid?

🚨 BREAKING NEWS 🚨

Robert Jenrick defects to the Green Party following their win in the Gorton & Denton by-election.

In justifying his second move in as many months he allegedly told voters, “I like green rosettes. They go better with my suit.”

I’m still hanging on to Labour. However, I am pleased that left of centre parties stuffed the far right by 2 to 1.

I just wish the Greens supported HS2.

The media on the run up to the by-election:

Reform, Reform, Reform, Reform, Reform, Reform, Reform, Reform, Reform, Reform, Reform, Reform, Reform, Reform, Reform, Reform, Reform, Reform, Reform, Reform, Reform, Reform, Reform, Reform, Reform.

Losers is the important bit

The Green vote was 11% higher than constituency polls, and Labour's 4% below polls. Reform result was in line with polls. This suggests tactical voters went Green to ensure Reform were stopped. Tactical voting was the real story of the last general election, and will be the story of the next one.

Even at 47%, the left and centre left vote outnumbered the right by over 2 to 1. This is encouraging. Indeed, Advance were beaten by the Monster Raving Loony Party.

Doncaster, 2017

The 142, 144 and 321 have been scrapped now. Doncaster built 56105, which is over 40 years old, is still in service

Always take photos, however mundane. They’ll be historical documents in 20 years time
