𧡠AUSCP Statement on the passing of Pope Francis:
"While we will miss his beautiful, often smiling presence, his example will continue to inspire us to become the church Jesus intended: one that is open and deeply listens to the movement of the Divine Spirit within us, our earth, and the universe.
As the AUSCP mourns the death of Pope Francis, we also give thanks to God for the blessing of having such an extraordinary pope for 12 years. This article in UCA emphasizes Pope Francis' gift of calling for an inclusive church.

5. Will I offer a closing prayer for the earth and the vulnerable ones in our society?
π π± This Lenten Examen was thoughtfully prepared by the @auscpriests.bsky.social Care for Creation Working Group.
4. How can I show I have been converted towards #ecologicaljustice? Can I not ask for the grace to reconcile my relationship with God, creation and humanity, and to stand in solidarity with all through my actions?
Lent calls us to repentance and an openness to reconciliation.
3. How can I turn away from #throwawayculture, and instead stand in solidarity with Creation and the poor?
I ask for the grace to look closely to see how my life choices impact creation β as well as the poor of this earth.
2. Do I find beauty in creation and hear the cries of the earth? And of the poor?
I ask for the grace to see creation as God does β in all its splendor and suffering.
1. Where did I sense God's presence and power in #creation today?
Give thanks to God for creation, and for "being wonderfully made" (Ps. 139)
